PREDATOR/PREDATOR 2 Action Figures from NECA

I don't take the best pictures, but at least you can tell what you're looking at and you can pick up some kind of detail. This guy that did the repaints takes the worst pictures known to mankind, I've taken better photos with an old shoe than these. It's pretty annoying because they seem to be well done repaints, but they might as well not be.

nah, you can't really say they're good, but they're not THAT bad. i've seen worse, believe me.

found these in my online store gallery:

I agree that the lighting does suck and he should at least open some blinds or take them outside to shoot. However you can still make out the differences between paint apps and his still look good whether amateur or not. I'd love to send my preds to get repainted by someone who can handle the detail at that scale. Thats all these neca preds need really, just a bit better paint up and their perfect. Display all ten of them and no one comes close!

Got my Boar and City hunter today, my are in bad condition, same old problems, the wristblades are warp, the paint got in the seams of the joints so my cant move and loose joints BUT I'm customizing them and getting new ones

Yeah, but what's the point of having all that detail if you can't really see it too well? Every one knows what the standard figures look like; anyway regarding his repaints, I can tell enough that they're well done, but other than that, the quality of the work is lost.

Those repaints look fantastic! I got the set the other day. These figures are all together too shiny! That is the only real problem I have with these new figures. The entire body and armor has the same sheen to them unlike the older ones where there is a real difference where the skin ends and armor begins. Excellent posability though!

Here ya go guys n gals. Figured I'd share my City Hunter Paint up. Enjoy.

ya just got mine ordered, i still am just so friggin stoked they're doing this.

i know the paint isn't perfect, but it looks as if they are trying, not sure how i'd feel if my job was to paint 100 arms or heads or whatever every day till they reach the 50,000 mark, unfortunately all the painters might not share our enthusiasm for predators. but dammit you could still paint the netting on the damn lines for ****** sake!

Lol!I think its a machine that paints them.I'm not sure though.

it's not that yellow. i'd suggest working on it - seriously, it's too bright, doesn't match the rest of the body at tall o_O

Those may not be pics of neca toys but their stuff is done in a similar fashion. Most of our american toys come from factory settings like the one above. They sure don't come from Santy Claus, thats for sure. lol

HOLY ****!!!!!Those pics!Thats not Neca items!lol!Really though are those sweat shops!?

Dude, all the chinese toy factories looks exactly like that one in the pictures...
All the work is made by young women and old ladies (and even children). Not by some high-tech machine :(

And some of the factories are even worst:

I think that sucks I know the hour feeling I use to work 17 hours in one day for 4 days a week I hardly got any sleep, but I still did because I had no other choice. On a happy note though check this out. Straight from Figures.com

What started off small in 2010 with action figures based solely on the movie Predators has exploded this year into a full-blown lineup of characters seen in all three Predator films. NECA reflected this change the most with Series 3, a star-studded assortment featuring the original 1987 creature from Predator, fan favorite Elder Predator from Predator 2, and the menacing Predator Hound from Predators. The trend continued with the recently released Series 4 which presented collectors with the popular City Hunter and the continuation of figures pulled from the Lost Tribe - unique and rarely seen hunters from the end of Predator 2. The fact that NECA plans on releasing the entire Lost Tribe in figure form just goes to show how dedicated they are with their Predator line and fan base.

However, the crowning jewel in NECA's extensive Predator line this year was none other than the 1/4 scale Predator action figure. This towering 18 inch tall beast of a collectible was drop dead gorgeous, NECA fully capturing all the intricate detail of their smaller series and then some. Size and sculpt aside, it was the Predator figure's extremely solid construction and incredible points of articulation that knocked it out of this universe. The only negative we had on this amazing toy was deciding on which of the three versions to purchase...
