ok, i am a tattoo freak (even tho i only have 2) and i was wondering if anyone would like to make a design for me it would be cool, and it will be immortalized in my skin.

well, what i had in mind was a side view of either the wolf pred or the celtic pred from AVP. some of the dreads in it, i dunno the size of it, iam thinkin maybe gettin it on either my shoulder or my left bicep. something that looks truly badass. and moloch ive seen your art, and i'd like for you to do it.

I gotta get my friend to draw me up my skull king i wanna get on my left bicep. I also wanna get circutry running up my right fore arm and hand as well as "made in Canada" on the bottom of my foot, right in the arch so it doesn't wear off. Now thats gonna hurt!

Yeah... You might wanna get yer first tattoo on an extremity, like around your ancle or on your arm... your belly button IS going to hurt like a bitch. The most painful tattoo I've gotten so far was on my left side, it's a winged devil woman and is about 10" by 12"... I had the guy skip shading in the wings... I just couldn't do it all in one sitting. I've sat through 4 and a half hours of work at a time on my arms though, anything that is generally exposed to the sun is much more tollerable.

I have a number of tattoos myself, my advice would be to shop around. Find an artist who you like and who does good work, don't just go with the first person because they seem enthusiastic. As far as not getting a big tattoo as your first one, I never understood that, do what you want, but just make sure you want it. Laser removal is painful and costs way more than the tattoo will. Anyways, good luck with it.

Definitely actually LOOK at the artist's portfolio. Pay special attention to their line work and shading. If it looks crappy, don't use them. I've seen too many awful tattoos that could have been awesome.

Also talk to other costumers that went there and ask about them and see there thoughts. Even online forumns (I belive that BME site may help) can be a source of info for local tatoo artists. Also a good place is probably gonna charge you a bit more. Go in and scope the place out and look for some info on if they are up to code, i mean if the place looks scummy definitly skip it. There was a place near me taht i went into with a few friends who wanted new jewelery, with in seconds i knew the place was bad. A few weeks later the place got closed down cause of an HIV scare, a peice of cleaning equipment wasn't takin care of, given it was only a few degrees off and i'm pretty sure nothing would servive the steralization but still.
I'm lucky enough to be living a 5 minute drive away from one of the best places in Ontario for tatooing, thier called sinful inflictions, I've seen their art work on a few people I know and it blows my mind.

When I was younger and played football and was real heavy in to sports, I wanted a pred crouched on a big tree branch with a skull and spine in his hand, and along the bottom was going to say "Distributer of Pain" but I never got around to doing it. Still think it would be cool LOL!
