G'day folks,

I am looking for an accurate kit or some great reference pics of a screen used disc. I have The winston effect which shows the top of one. The only one I have seen thus far that even comes close to that pics is the ICONS disc. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction? Becasue failing finding a kit I will have to build a scratch one so I need goo reference:)

Thanks In Advance
TAZ

Well it doesn't match the one pictured in the Winston Effect book. That's on page 119. You only get to see the top. It mentions that numerous fighting disc were built. Hero versions that opened and lit up, to simpler stunt versions. That's what was pictured...the stunt version. I wanna built one with LED's ect......

Here's a pic off of a predator poster from P2 that a friend sent me. Looks quite interesting:)

Yes and Icons, as with the Pulse-rifle, wanted to make a "stunt" and "hero" version of the Predator disc weapon. Only the "stunt" version was made without moving parts and lights. :confused
And we mustn't forget that often, companies like Icons or followers, prefer to make some "idealized" versions of the props seen on screen, much nicer for collectors.

Hi Taz,

I remember to have seen pics of the "working" disc (with green lights everywhere on the inside) but I don't remember where !!!!

Will try a search.

It will be more easier for the Icons disc....will do that this evening.

Give me back your email address and what part exactly of the disc you need and I will send you some pics.

If I remember correctly, the owner of Icons purposefully altered the finished pieces so they were not identical to the screen used items.

I don't know if he was trying to protect his investment in screen used props, or if he merely wanted to be the only one with screen accurate details.

He owned one of the screen used disks.

I have a kit that I cast from the Icons disc. Sold the original a few years ago though, so I can't do pics of the original, sorry.

Here's finished and unfinished pics of mine.
