Predator Feet Thickness

I'm going to be molding my predator feet soon, but wondered, how thick should the latex be (how many layers should I do)? I'm going to be walking in those, and plan on putting shoes in them, and I don't want to do very little layers that when I wear it, it'll rip. But I didn't know if they didn't have to be very thick. Suggestions?

I would guess that the bottoms of mine are at least 1/2-5/8" thick, and I would say that the 'uppers' are between 1/16-1/8" think... probably closer to 1/8".  My feet are easily the thickest latex part of my suit.

Well, I wasn't going to latex the bottom, I was going to add maybe a foam pading to it (due to the fact I'm still a beginner).

I've never really used latex before, how many layers would make it 1/8"? I have a quart of liquid latex, but it 's not thin, like slush latex, It's very thick. With that I know I won't need many layers.

Indeed it is, and it's 'whovian'. XD I'm a very big fan.

When I cast mine, the sides are 1/4" thick and I didn't latex the bottoms. I figured they would wear out anyway.

Well I could hope they last a bit. A want to use a for at least one halloween and maybe a convention. Other than may not try to wear them out much. Thank you for the advice :)

The feet i cast for a suit recently were used for a day walking at a con, and 5 days filming in water, running in dirt/ rocks etc as well as about 5 miles total walking on dirt. They are still in good shape, cast in latex, medium thick bottom
