Predator and chestburster BOTH FINISHED 01-12-2006

Just thought id post these for any pred/alien fans about. The pred is my 1st ever sculpt and although i think i could have done better im happy with how i managed complete it, i think my painting has got better with each mask (this was the 1st).
then ive just started working on a AVP hybrid chestburster.

I swear it is my 1st sculpt.
i liked the steve wang pred look so took inspiration from that and several others to try make a streamlined look to the pred instead of big dred lugs etc etc, my nipper has ended up with that one as im gonna try paint the next one better.

Small update on Chestburster, and replaced the now finished pred pic.

Tail section is drying so thatll be done come the weekend.

What 's it cast in if I may ask you? Slip latex/ foam?
Looks like it may be hording a armature inside that there for posing .Am I right?
If done in resin, it could make a real neat walking staff too.

Eric, the chestburster is all latex apart from his teeth and inner jaw which are resin, there is no armature inside, i was going to foam and then add wire to make it poseable, but i also like the way it wriggles when you shake the head, ( it almost looks alive when a marble is added inside the tail to give alittle weight )
