Predator 25Th Reunion At Monsterpalooza Video Added Pg.3

This was an awesome experience,I can go on and on.It was great to meet some faces behind the names....Carl pretty much summed it up.Thanks for posting this Carl,it was a pleasure to dremell,sand,paint,weather,cuss at,tweak and fondle your cannon. I think Gene and I know better than anyone how to put that beast together now,lol .I spoke with Jamie for a bit and showed him some suits that Seahunterr and I have made over the years and he pretty much got weak in the knees.He had some questions about the lair and what its about and what we do as Predator enthusiasts...we chatted for awhile. He gave me his number and he wants to definitely connect and work on getting in a suit ASAP. I told him to join the lair as soon as he could. Im going to give him a call sometime this week.....it would be a dream to get that guy into a suit and make a fan film....or anything for that matter.

That would be cool Damon I was get in contact with him as well, but did not realize that you had it as well. Let us know when he joins which I'm sure we will be keeping an eye out for his introduction post on the lair in the coming weeks. (y)
 
Well, i believe anything i wanna say has already been said. BUT... I will seriously remember that day for the rest of my life (the panel, monsterpalooza stuff, meeting people... all of it.) defiantly a highlight. To Carl. Damon, Gene and anyone else that worked on those canon trophies... you guys are seriously rad for doing that, and i hope you never have to look at another plasma canon again X) Those of you BEASTS that i got to meet that day, pleasure, and thanks for being so awesome and making me feel welcome :D

Plus seeing, being right next to, and interacting! with some of my heros was REALLY FREAKING AWESOME.

When I saw the bio necklace for the first time before it was given to Matt I was even blown away at the detail on how small it was. I would have to agree with Matt that thing was very awesome Clay very cool of you to make and give that to him.
 
A MESSAGE FROM MATT WINSTON TO THE HUNTER'S LAIR:

I just read through the entire thread and it warms the heart to know how much the reunion meant not only to the family and the crew, but to you awesome folks in The Hunter's Lair who've kept the Predator spirit alive in all that you do. It was a pleasure getting to know you and the rest of the Lair gang last weekend & I'm looking forward to hanging out at future events. The trophy is so gorgeous and Clay's necklace will become an honored heirloom for the Winston family. We'll be posting the panel footage as soon as we finish cutting it together. I want to share the gratitude of the entire Winston family with the Lair. We know Stan is grinning from ear to ear to see that Predator still resonates with fans all around the world. He was all about leading his brilliant team in creating living, breathing, iconic characters that would stay with audiences long after they left the theater, and thanks to all of you, Predator will be alive and well for years to come. Thanks again!!

Thank you all the members of the lair, from the bottom of my heart I have so much pride for this place.
we are not a group who just sits and waits for things to come our way, we push it to new levels. Glad we made this happen.

So .....whats next?
 
This is so much more than just a forum-- this is for sure a family and an entity in itself. Many thanks to my Brother Andrew Kithunter for having the vision and passion to create this world. Whats next-???? - reach for the freaking stars!!!!!
 
no way...I just stood on the shoulders of giants,

all the credit goes to cast and crew for their vision and hard work 25 years ago.
 
If making Jamie Hall a suit really happens... you guys are gonna be livin' the dream... and will truly become KINGS OF THE UNIVERSE.

Doesn't matter who does what or which pieces are used, this is an honor to suit up the nephew of Kevin Peter hall

Whatever we all can do by suit component or just supporting the team that does this for Jamie, this a lair effort.. :)
Damon and gene seem best to help Jamie just due to initial conversations and geographic consideration.

This is so badass to be able to do this. Based on what Jamie mentioned he will be doing with the suit... It's gonna be epic.

Damon please create a new thread documenting this for us.
