Predator 2 Sculpture

It occurred to me I had not posted my latest sculpture on the Lair today... Figured it was far enough along to post pictures now!

Info:
W.E.D. Clay sculpture over Monster Makers armature.
It is still a work in progress so the teeth and other final details are not finished.
I plan on molding it in Ultracal 30, then making a silicone master. The Ultracal 30 will be for latex masks.
While the silicone master will serve to make a resin mold to then make silicone displays from. I like the idea of making silicone busts for display. Simply filling them with foam. Lee helped me come to this conclusion so thanks Lee.
If you think about it a silicone bust for display is better than hard resin, the silicone lasts forever and looks hyper realistic. 
Thats what I think anyway...

I was never really fond of Predator 2.   I thought why did they replace Mel Gibson with the Predator?   But the sculpt looks AMAZING!  Hope to see more pics.  Keep up the great work.

Pic stitching can be fun! Enjoy the pictures, I have been working on this and posting regular updates on my facebook page because it is very convenient. I post there almost daily when I am in the shop working on projects.

Below is some pics of the Sculpture process, Molding Process, Casting Process and the Final Latex mask pulled from the mold.
I will add some pictures of the painted mask when I get around to actually painting one.
