Pred head sculpt FINISHED 1st pull done pics up

damn sweet sculpt... the proportions look accurate.. nicely done

keith ya need to get off the merry-go-round

fairly happy for now on wrinkles ( need to move on before i get pred rage again )
Im slightly worried about detailing the top of the head, not the big bumps, just the scaley texture etc, i dont think i have the patience to use the seran wrap and tool malarky for hrs on end, and im having trouble finding any sort of stamp in the UK. dont suppose anyone could shed some light on this please. or a easy technique to use.

started some detail at back of head and added alittle texture to inside mouth ( not sure you can see this, and im running outa webspace for loadsa pics)
even if the back of head texture doesnt work out, dreds will cover it .

That's a great looking head you've got going there. keep it coming!

It really looks like it's coming along! I like that the detail is subtle. I'm really diggin' it man, keep us posted. I really get a kick outta the progression pics.

Excellent work!

OK,
since i came back from my holiday i couldnt get into my sculpt for some reason. yesterday i sat down and tried and tried and tried, in the end i very nearly took a sword to it.

so to the 3 people i moaned to about my inability to get skin texture anything like decent , i apologise.
i smoothed the head out alot and started this morning, 6hrs later i THINK it is getting better, also started the basic shape for the lower mandibles ( they are no where near finished i just needed a break from texture fiddling earlier)

hopefully i havent got much futher to go on skin texture, and i can the progress to little things like quill holes etc.

anyway as always please pick holes in it

Hey dude, The texture is looking very good. I like to see it when people take the time to do the little stuff. I know how you feel about having a hard time starting back up on a project. For me I think part of it is that I know once I start I won't stop for many hours. Anyway the sculpt is coming along nicely. The key is, don't take time off from the project. Ha ha

Sweet more and more new mask coming out everyday. Looks awesome the detail is amazing.

ok heres what i think ive settled on. mandible abit long but they can be trimmed when cast.

LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT looks pretty damn cool. I say leave the mandys the way they are, who is to say your version of the hunter doesn't have longer mandibles.
