Possible very cheap small rotocaster

Spotted these while looking for birthday presents for my niece in the Early Learning Centre. Don't laugh. Obviously very basic, but looks like it provides all the necessary axis rotation for rotocasting small items. At the price it has to be worth a try. Has anyone already given it a go?

What about this? Plaster Rotator Childrens Sculpture Maker on eBay.ca (item 250776162536 end time 21-Mar-11 06:51:34 EDT) Looks similar to me, and a little bit cheaper.
