Possible source for SW OT cone knobs?

I stumbled accoss these completely by accident. They are vintage automotive fuses.

The ends look a bit like the cone knobs that appeared throughout the original trilogy. Unfortunately they are a bit too small with a diameter of only 1/4" :cry

But I thought I would share them with you anyway.

I bet you're closer then you think. Thats the closest real-world item I've ever seen. Maybe not the exact ones, but I bet we can find them in the correct size (we found the emitter and gear didn't we?)

Bet it came from the same mysterious industrial machinery that gave us the Mouse Droid/Stormtrooper Blaster cylinders... and maybe the Hengstlers too.

Heck - maybe the cone knobs came off the mystery cylinder ends.
