Here's the lowdown....I had Ramiel make the design for me. My idea ect ect
I asked SS if he could maybe do a run so I could get a t-shirt for me and Ram ect.
When It didn't look like there was much interest early on, I asked my mate (linked above in the previous post) if he could get a few made up so I could give one to Ramiel as a surprise as well as one or 2 for me and a few for himself. Ramiel and I have worked/working on a few things together and it was going to be a nice gift for Ram.
So my mate got a few done. Out of our pockets. Enough to cover the costs of the screen print, One I was sending to Ram (Surprise!!!). Then after all that SS finally has enough folks in on the run. No big deal. That would mean 2 T-shirts from Ram LOL
So anyways...This Larry guy contacts my mate as he saw the Carter Burke Cards we did together. He wants to sell them ect and do some other Aliens stuff with him. My mate showed this Larry the t-shirt in conversation but told him in no uncertain terms it was not to be used for his site(I hadn't given permission nor had Ram) This Larry then goes and posts it on his site as well as the Carter Burke cards...which was ok. Just not the t-shirts.
My mate put a few left out of the run and his daughter's on ebay to make his cash back. I was okay with that as they are quite obviously inferior to SS shirts. So nothing shady was going on until this Larry guy got involved. My mate has since killed all links from his other items at Larry's site ect ect Also relaying his displeasure ect
The funny thing is...whilst Larry was saying to my mate that I was selling Carter Burke cards, and also that I didn't know what I was doing. I don't think he pieced together I actually worked with my mate to create them LOL This is all ridiculous. I didn't even want to get into an online thread discussion about this but macel70 is a standup guy. Not a crook in the least. He has always treated everyone fair. I also would like to add that I feel I have a good rep as being fair in my sales and not over charging on my runs ect. So if I was a recasting-cash hound....it would be pretty obvious. I just hate chiming in on these type of threads as you always end up sounding pathetic.......LOL
Sadly, I feel that not only are folk going to look sideways at my mate's auctions and work from now on... but I guess also at me now too
