OK a small update:
3D model had the final tweaks done and is now at the printers.. so in a couple weeks I may have a print to show off
Once I get back home after my Vacation I will send out emails to all on the run explaining the timeline of when to expect to make payments and when the helmets will be run

It was featured in the wired Force Awakens props showcase, so references are pretty good (and it's mostly the same design as the black one, color swapped) :
