Please help me idenfity this prop!

I am trying to figure out what this is. Looks like a hearing aid battery dispenser, LED Bicycle light, a refil for some carousel pill dispenser, etc.

I believe that is is a found item though. Thanks guys!!!!

More info would help like what movie/tv show it's from which can narrow down production dates, what it does(if anything) in the film and aprox. how big it is.

AH, it is from i,Robot. I'd guess it to be around 2" to 2.5" in diameter or so.

It looks a lot like a hearing aid battery to me but without anything else around it for scale it's hard to tell but it does look small.

Looks an awful lot like an OLD wall thermostat cover. The tabs inside the inner ring look like they were designed to hold something in that space... like a dial insert or something.

Lightsaber! Did i win? But seriously, in comparison to the book it seems to small to be a screwdriver bit holder, maybe a battery one, but looking at the green flat bottom it looks like there might be soilder welds there, a electrical board underneath?

I can't tell from the picture thenumber of internal divisions. If it is 28, then it is the old Prempro or Premphase Ez-Dial plastic case dispensers. I can't think of any other older prescription products that used that style pack. Those have been discontinued recently so if it is that, then you need to try tracking it down asap.... Those are coming in a blister card pack now.

That's got me beat, but I reckon it definately is missing something that clips into the centre.
