play.com stormtrooper helmet anyone had one?

Hi iam tempted to buy the UK play.com stormtrooper helmet the photo is pretty naff i just wondered if anyone had bought one and what the accuracy and quality is like?

That is definitely the Riddell scaled replica. I have one identical to that.

I just went to the site and they said it was a 1:1 Master Replicas helmet. I think they just used the scaled helmet image instead.

It is definately 1/1 scale and certainly isnt the rubies one, but yes that is the pic of the scaled one, i think people will be shocked when they see this helmet in the flesh

I take that back. It's not a picture of the rubies helmet, but of the .45 scale Riddell helmet, as posted above. The size of the photo and the lack of base makes the helmet look like it's full size, but it's not.

It does say that it is the Master replicas one, which is sold out on the MR site.

It also seems to be a great price. It looks like it comes to about $120-$130 depending on the exchange rate.

Only problem is, play.com won't ship to the U.S.

Apparently MR are saying this is something like their "stunt" spec helmet rather than the hero LE.There was something to do with retailers in Europe having too many.At any rate it is constructed very differently from the hero,naturally due to the price difference,and I think it sounds and looks a bit iffy.There's an article about this on rebelscum somewhere.
