Plasti Dip

Hello all, I have a little question about Plasti Dip. Where do you get yours. I know you can get it from almost any type of paint/spray website, but can you get this stuff at like Wal-Mart or Home Depot? Now I live in Illinios, could my location play in a role if my local hardware store doesn't have it?

I get it from a few of my local hardware stores. You should be able to find it available at most ACE or TRUE VALUE Hardware stores, if it's not readily available they can always order it for you as well. I live one state up from you in Wisconsin, so I'd recommend calling around to the above listed franchise outlets in your area to see if they carry it regularly b 4 ordering it online since the s/h alone can cost you a lot cuz aerosol cans cost more to ship since its a combustible material.

Here in germany I saw it in a Hornbach and Baumarkt, some kind of DIY superstore or do-it-yourself store.

It has been a while since I ordered online. I think its about the same as buying it in stores. Remember sales tax and gas to go to and from. Plus if you get it from that link I posted its 10 percent off if you buy 3 cans. I have yet to see Plastidip at Home Depot (the spray can kind).

i cant find clear anywhere local. but i buy my black @ Home Depot

Man! Us Canadians get it up the whazoo!!! Home Depot doesnt seem to carry it here, so I get mine from Home Hardware at $12.50/can! Its a crime I say!

Trust me go to walmart and go back to the automotive section i get giant cans there for 8$

Got mine at Harbor Freight if you have one, they have the dip but not the spray. they had it in black and yellow.

Found Lowes to be the cheapest in my area. $4.20 a can for the spray.

Found mine at Home Depot, the spray kind.

Beware of spraying it on thin latex though... it does wierd things to it.

It crinkled it in the thinnest spots, so I had to put saran wrap and weights on it for a bit, then take it off and let it dry and then glue a thin piece of leather in back of it to keep the shape.

Also plasti-dip will do wierd things to certain glue parts...for example hot glue.

Walk into HOME DEPOT or LOWES...THEY HAVE IT

Yeah i checked both Home Depot and Home Hardware and they both have it, really isnt hard to find, they should have it in any hardware store
