The sound is a little tinny, but what do you expect from a piece of plastic that is shaped like a chest. I like that the heart light turns off when the lid is closed, and the little storage bins on the sides.

Saw one today being carried by a faux Jack Sparrow in a Fourth of July parade (not sure what a British pirate has to do with US independence). I thought maybe he had an early release of the MR, but it was this item

At the top of the main box (not including te lid) it is 11.5 wide x 7.5 deep.

I will likely try to dress it up a tad to see how close I can get it to the MR. Would LOVE to see an MR in person to compare, and to see how good the MR paint finish comes out. One thing I think MR offers that this does not is that the key works with the MR.

Yeah, this is bolstered by about half an inch... It is 11.5 by 7.5, as mentioned, at its largest.

Wonder how accurate the measurements - as stated by MR - are, or will be...

I had been wondering how accurate the listed measurements were. Mine still hasn't shipped from Disney yet.

I am very curious to see the difference in paint between the two.
