I think it's very close!

edit: I'm willing to bet, it's a "kuchi" tassel of some sort. I know my image link does not display the exact thing, but the tassels on the bracelets seem to be very similar...And as Shylaah said, maybe the tassel part are the remains of a red tassel?!

That would have to be one of the strangest things ever attached to Jack's wig!!!

I was thinking a pewter boquet of roses charm? Not this exact one but something similar, one of a kind, or custom made!

A miniature Tussy Mussy ....maybe a saved crumpled red rose petal in it??

I had another thought what it might be....
It could be one of the aglets off of a Bolo Tie! And they're a Spanish thing....
and also used on military uniforms.....

Holy FRAPPACINO! I clicked on a tassel link on a tribal page and it hit me like a ton of brings. Yes that is a pewter or sterling silver tassel metal piece (collar piece) but the red part are BEADS!!!! Small trade beads! O-M-G! Thank the gods!

The image was on Tribal Souk website but they have their images locked down. I think we are looking at 3-4 stacked barrel beads with a bell (bead cap) on the end. Red trade beads are threaded together and fed through the metal part.

Off to a bead store. I am going to see if they have any of these types of beads for stringing together.

Small Beaded Baluchi Tassel PAIR - Costume

I saw a pair of tribal kuchi earrings that had a long coil looking bead, I'll see if I can find it again.

EA2292. These are very typical silver antique Turkoman beads from Afghanistan. I really like the idea of the round part at one end and a tubular piece attached to it. Strand #1 is about 17 inches long - $118.US Strand #2 is just under 9 inches long - $78.US

I'm back from the bead store. Sparrowed strand #1 beads with the flower is the one that I pondered and pondered and pondered over for almost 15 minutes. I ended up going with silver plated triangular bead cap (it has some bumps on it but can be sanded down) and 1/2 inch silver plated tube beads very similar to strand #3.

I will post a finished product tonight when I am done. I'm so happy that I ordered the wrong red trade beads two years ago for my beard braids. Fate has brought Jack back to me through those beads which I now get to use. They were too small for the beard braids!!! Karma!

Anyone know how to quickly tarnish sliver plating?

Are the silversmith buttons also used on the breeches? If so, are they the golden ones vs. the silver ones on the waste coat?

Well, now I did get back to it, but now can't find my original post.....
So, here's the pic again, and the info where to get it.

It is from Lee Industries and the color is called Toggle Red and they will send you free sample!

The stripe pattern is 7/8th inches wide, the white space is 3/4 inches wide Rough estimate, that would give you about 10 red stripe patterns per a 12 inch wide sash.

It is $50 a yard, so you're talking about $75 for a 12"X180" ......IF you can even buy this in a partial yard.....if not then over $100 dollars to get two yards then you would have to seam it in three places......Otherwise, you could get five yards, make three sashes, sell two for as much as you could get to off set the cost of your own...???

Or for half of all that if you have a friend in the biz who could get it for you wholesale, or IF it ever goes on sale?!?!

Not totally SA, but looks good. For an exact replica, you can probably still order one custom made from Grace--in either cotton or linen. I have one in cotton and it is most lovely, nothing feels as good as hand woven!!
