I'm glad I was able to meet him years ago with the NYC (MEPA) FanForce group. Such a kind and warm soul. This will leave another big hole in our hearts; he'll be sorely missed. (ಥ﹏ಥ)

What sad news losing Peter Mayhew! I met him several times at conventions and in fact he was the first of the Star Wars cast I met in person. He and his wife Angie are some of the sweetest people on earth. I had a chance to talk to both of them at length during San Diego ComicCon and they were both so humble and generous with their time. Rest in peace Chewie!
