Strange Thing Regarding Star Trek Cast Deaths…

One of the RIP threads mentioned the deaths of the TOS cast (unfortunately) and something occurred to me that was very strange regarding the order of how each cast member has passed away.

The order of deaths appears to strangely reflect the character’s duty area relative to the Captain’s chair.

- First was Deforest Kelley, whose duty area was Sick Bay.

- Next was James Doohan, whose duty station was engineering and the upper perimeter of the bridge.

- Next was Leonard Nimoy, whose duty station was along the upper perimeter of the bridge.

- Next was Nichelle Nichols, whose duty station was also along the upper perimeter of the bridge and directly behind the Captain’s chair.

This leaves only the 3 cast members whose duty stations were closest to the Captain’s chair:

Very strange (and sad).

Very strange (and sad).
An odd observation.

Though you didn't take into account that Nimoy, and Kelley spent most of their time in close proximity to Shatner in almost every episode and movie compared to the rest of the cast.
