Hello everyone.

I decided to start doing some model kits because it has been a while since i did any modeling, and I really enjoy it.
So I ordered the highest quality gundam kit i could find, so I would end up with something I would appreciate.
I settled on The Perfect Grade Astray red frame

Frame:

I wanted a metallic inner frame on him instead of the dull brown/red, so i went ahead and painted the entire inner frame parts.

Armor:

The rest of the armor I wanted to keep the color, so i only did some weathering and panel lining

I also modded an Aile Striker for Astray to take off!!!
Plus I added some decals and stickers.

His head lights up, but drains the battery if left overnight^^
Going to be borrowing a proper macro camera soon, to take some close ups.

And I am also doing http://www.therpf.com/f24/war-machine-hd-helmet-worklog-198617/

check it out!

Looks great, I have just bought a 1/48 Gundam model and hve it sitting with me at the airport,
The Red Astray is a fantastic kit and you have done a top job on it.
love the paint work!

I have been looking at some resin kits from g systems. and they look awesome!
They have some 1/35 kits that look massive and super detailed.
Maybe my next project ;) Just need to reach far down in to my wallet, and see what i can afford.
