Pepakura Question.

So i bought the Editor licence. And id like to take the Files i edited, i had to make the Helm 15% bigger to fit my massive head.

But some of the support pieces dont fit on the same sheet. I want to know how i can EDIT these said support parts, like cut them in half. So i can glue them toghter perfectly with tabs, so there the right size and use them that way.

like if its 14 inches long, i cut it in half, so its 2 pieces at like 7 inches each glue them toghter, then use it.

You can spread them across 2 pages. Pepakura will print the alignment marks as long as the option is turned on. It is a checkbox in "Print Settings".

Before you unfold it (you need to undo the unfold if it was unfolded when you got the file), go to 3D menu->Edit mode->Edit model. It will bring up a list of functions you can use to alter the model in the 3D space. The Divide edge function will let you cut selected edges in half, creating new vertices and edges in the pdo file for you to utilise while cutting. Find the piece you want to cut, and cut the necessary edges. Note that you will only cut single edges, so if you're trying to cut a rectangular shape in half to get two new rectangles, you need to cut the two opposing sides and then the diagonal that you have created in between in order to get a proper cut line. You will actually end up having a bunch of triangles using this method, but it shouldn't cause any problems.

There might be an easier way to do it in Pepakura Designer, but since I use Blender for all my 3D needs I haven't bothered to look around much in PD as far as altering the model goes. The method should work fine for your purposes though.

thanks to you both, I did try the alignment marks, they just seem off. I'm not sure.

If you right click on the 2D side (the right side of the screen) a pop up menu will appear. Click on 'join/disjoin face' then run your mouse over the piece you wish to cut in half. A green line will appear where the piece will be cut, you can play around with it a little bit to get the right place. Then simply click on when the line is where you want it and it will be cut in half and a new tab will automatically be made for it

Ok guys, i figured out how to join/disjoin on some items to make them fit.

I created a new file off of flying Squirl's HD chest. made it so it would fit someone 6'2" really great. But i have 2 struts that span multi pages, and i hate the page alignment took.

I attached the file on this post, i put the green line where i want to cut thr struts so they fit. I cant figure out how to make new Cut/Tabs. I Played with it for about 30 min after i was done making everything fit into there pages and marking them.

You can't make new cuts in the pieces while the model is unfolded. You need to undo the unfold and then use the method I explained earlier to make new cut lines. If you don't want to reunfold the entire file, make a separate copy where you just cut the support straps.
