Pandorum is a Good Movie NO Spoilers

Totally agree. The marketing on the movie REALLY dropped the ball, in my opinion, making it look like a standard by-the-numbers hack and slash when it's more of a mind-screw.

Most definately a great movie. Yeah, someone definately dropped the ball, making it look like it isn't worth seeing even on TV.

Yeah I enjoyed it too! Hadn't heard much prior to buying it on the off-chance it was good...it's a shame as I would've liked to have watched it at the cinema!

Not to be the naysayer (everybody is entitled to their opinions in my book)... it was okay for me but I'm thinking it wouldn't have put a crowd in the theater even if the marketing had been better.

The good thing about it was that it wasn't just another sequel or a completely by-the-numbers cliched story (the ending actually surprised me personally).

For me it was on about the same level as Supernova - a fun scifi film I enjoyed but not a fantastic one or one that I'd buy for my personal movie library.

Didn't care for it much personally. I was really excited for about three seconds at the end and then they goofed it up.

It was like a rollercoaster that took your breath away at first, but just kept going downhill.

I'm going to have to check it out. I'd say alot of movies dont' get people in the theatres because whoever does the promotions messes up. I've seen some really good films that did badly at the theatre. Then again at 15.00 a ticket its no shock. I'm lucky the 2 theatres here are cheap. I haven't seen super nova. I typically end up getting these movies for 5.00 at walmart (the 5.00 bin is always fun but not enough 50s scifi). Plus it was exectuive produced by the guys who made teh resident evil movies, the first mortal kombat, and Event Horizon.
