Hey all!

First of all, beautiful work!

A very good friend sent me this thread because he's a huge Hook fan and was excited about the prospects of doing this himself. I'm fairly handy but I had to admit to him I was a loss on how you did the blade and can't for the life of me find out more information. Is the blade metal? How did that hue come about? I would love more information, hopefully the thread isn't too old.

So so sorry for the late reply, I totally forgot I had a post on the sword, and dont get any messages regarding comments to my post. Yes, the blade is solid brass. As for the shine, I went through many grades of wet sanding. And then simply buffed it up with brasso. And thank you so much for the compliment.
