I believe this was the reason the Ipad was created. hahah Awesome!

I'm kind of disappointed it's not a skin for the iPad GUI that maintains the normal iPad functionality. In my mind, it could have replaced all the app icons with the little pill-shaped LCARS buttons (that would just have the app title on it), and once you open an app, it returns to the app's default look. Some of the default apps could be skinned as well (email, Safari, settings, etc.) That's what I'm holding out for.

Especially the iPad2's thinner form factor. What a great way to go. Would have been nice to see a metallic gray version!

You're going to have to hold out quite a bit longer (or get an Android Device, OR Jailbreak your iPad) because that is NOT functionality any developer has. The iPad GUI is locked.
