I found that so many different pics of the Hero Bio look so different I was only able to manage an approximation, I believe mine is the closest to the Hero Bio so far. That's not to say it's the 'best' just that I got nearer. Best of luck coz it ain't easy, but if I were you I would just use screen caps as your reference if you really want screen accurate, there are too many variations out there. And Tri-Laser is right the color is a mystery because of the biased RGB in cameras.

I think the hero bio was painted using different gold paints(gloss and flat),maybe some copper too but the main color is gold.

Was there more than a hero bio?.I know one of them was stolen.

The Bio wasn't painted. It was plated. I know how they do it. They do it how I do it. Basically cold casting with metal powders. Atleast that's how they did the armour for AVP.

Yep that's exactly how you do it. But to get it really shiny a tip I was given is to dust the mould with metal powder first, tip out the excess. Then follow the video. This is my mould dusted with Bronze.

If Lee is right, and I am sure he is, there are metallic paints that have real copper, silver, and gold in them. They are not cheap, but worth the money.

I can't remember where I read it, but I remember seeing the debate between cold cast and paint come up before somewhere a while back, and I believe it was pretty much settled that it was all paint.  If I'm not mistaken the difference in paint colors was due to them "casting on the fly" and getting it done as quickly as possible to get it in front of the camera.  I am by no means an expert, and unfortunately can't find where I got this info, so I may be wrong (wouldn't be the first time, won't be the last)  :p

Larry Kidd, one of the best if not THE best painter we have had here stated several times it was a paint system, but he struggled to replicate it, it had been broke down into golds/coppers/purples the list went on and on.

Cold Casting a bio would add more weight you do not need if using for a suit, HEZ did some cool P1 cold casting, and it added quite some weight, and the look although very cool was not film accurate.
