The detail on the crown does need to be brushed more to smooth out the lines. It takes a little while to get it to look realistic, but not completely lose the detail.
You have some serious talent buddy! This is my favorite Elder sculpt so far that is out there. It is very accurate. I cant wait to see it airbrushed to perfection.
Thanks guys! I did a little more work on the detail tonight. The resin should be here tomorrow, so I can cast the first teeth and put them on the sculpt. Then just a little more detailing and I will post some final pics. If everything goes right I will start the mold this weekend. I already have all the silicone. Thanks again guys for the great words of motivation.
As promised here are the finished pics. I included a pic for comparison with a P1 Bio head. Now I just have to start the fun molding process. I will post more pics when the first resin cast comes out of the mold.
Thanks guys! I finished the mold a couple days ago and finally got some time to make a casting. It came out really nice. Only a few small spots that need some sanding/filling. Painted pics are next.
Oh yeah and the mold came off of the clay sculpt pretty easily, so there was very little damage. I think I will be turning the sculpt into a P1 and making another mold. I just need to get rid of the spikes, wrinkles, and make some new mandibles.
