Hi everyone as many of you know i have not been around for a while, life's been busy and exciting, and finally i got the time to work on my second sculpt of a P1 mask ..I will post pix of my progress.. not sure how long will this whole thing take but, i will try to do it before the release of AVP2. For halloween i will wear the same suit from last year with a few upgrades,so no pressure to have this mask done by halloween. Any comments are more than welcome. Thanx for checkin..CESAR :( PS. i am using db P1 for size reference, and that thing is huge..... after working for 2 days on it this is the result so far...

Looking good so far. The only suggestion I have is to space out the uper teeth a little. They a little close together.

looking good so far mate

I agree with Mel you need to make that top gum wider and also I think the top of the forhead could be a little wider, it's looking a little narrow in the middle of the head

Also In the first picture it looks like the head is twisting out to the right, look at the pictures and draw a straight line upwards from each jaw and you will see how much more clay there is on the right hand side

Be careful not to distort the shape too much as it might weigh the head down to one side when it's cast in latex and it wont sit right on your head

Keep it up bud

I'm working on my first Pred at the moment and mel has been a great help

Take on board everything she has to say it will be a massive help :(

thanx for all the comments ....as for the suggestion on the teeth Mel i agree , i will keep that in mind next time i work on it thanx.....SUCKFACE,the right side of the head it does have more clay just checking how this thing would look like comparing the two options. THANK YOU ALL :D i will keep you update on this. :(

Cesar- I saw you pics- and my advice is to scale it down the crown a bit before you get too far into the details.

Here is yet another update.......Thank you ScottI know this thing it's been thru a lot of changes but i think for good. ...did not realize it was going the elder direction :) but kinda like it so far, what you guys think? I have been working my way down on this piece ,from the crown to the the mandibles, still need more detail around the mouth and the mandibles, but happy so far with the result.

I like it, it looks a bit different from the more generic predators, I think it's the oval shape of the head. But it really looks very nice, nice texturing too on the top of the head, they kinda look like curly markings almost :) Good work so far imo!

I like that its a little different, it gives it some attitude. Kind of like the dead end hunters that had different skin types and armors. Little things that make you stand out from the rest.

Looking good!

thanx for the replies fellow hunters , I hope i get this thing done soon....just taking my time on it .... i still need to set up all my stuff in my garage since i am not allowed to work inside the house :) ,but well it's not hot anymore in socal ,actually rainning nowdays.
I will try and work on it today. Thanx again for your comments.

Here are some final pix..just need to work on details but i am pretty much done. ...... I might go ahead and make a mold for this boy this weekend. Thanx for yout comments :)

Wow... You've brought that a long way in the last few days, especially considering all the changes you've made. I like it quite a bit. One question... and it may just be the photo angle or the lighting/shadows... The chin looks a little "tall" to me. Looks like the bottom gum should be a little lower or the chin thinned down a bit. Again, it may just be the picture. Also nice to see another SoCal pred maker. Good job.
