I caught part of the Three Stooges one they had on a local channel. Some of them I had not seen in many years. The Little Rascals are another one of my favorites.
Back in the 30's my grandma and her brother would visit where they were filming. I recall as a kid my uncle pointing out what he believed was himself and my grandma in a few scenes as extras.
I just picked up the newer (Genius Products) 8 DVD collection just to fill the void, knowing full well it has issues and two episodes are edited regardless of how it's advertised... Just wanted something until I find a legit and reasonable cost copy of the Cabin Fever/Hallmark box set as I hear the transfers are superior and they don't have the edits... That or I will have to resort to a bootleg version to get the unedited versions...
In the 70's, The Little Rascals/Our Gang was on right after school in every market I think. Great memories of coming home, eating a snack in front of the tube watching Spanky and Gang.
