theres a market near me that is just stuffed with various stalls full of old cameras, music equipment, projectors, war memrobilia and much much more.

I thought it would be good to have a post that had images of as many items used in props as possible so that i and others may spot these. wheather for own collections or to make available to others on here so please post anything you want.

last week i found a large reel to reel maching in an elaborate case, this case had mesh that to me was a near if not perfect match for vader anh belt boxes. the item however was priced too high as it was in mint condition and in full working order so i declined.

the high prices dont pertain to all things available in this place.

what got me thinking was a thread somewhere discussing parts of sabres now its not an item im looking for but the grenades mentioned in that post to make sabre handles caught my eye, theres at least 3/4 there all slightly different. i didnt ask the prices but if someones desperate for one get a pic and some sizes ill look into it more. also the same place has alot of ammo belts with pouches that might suit fetts etc all origional war stuff.

im personally not looking to make profit here and concider any item im not looking for fair game.

What country do you live in?

If you've found several no. 3 mk. 1 grenades of the Obi type, you will certainly be able to sell them to people here.

But shipping them to the US will be breaking the law, so you'll have to figure that one out.

You can find out all about them in THIS THREAD (link), just be aware that there are a couple of similar-looking models which are not correct, and many variations of the correct one which will be more or less valuable according to how accurate they are to the prop.

Serafino one of the nades looks like the picture jediscout posts in that link. the others are fatter looking. i was up there today and checked. however i asked the price and the seller said its a rarer grenade to get and is £120 uk he has no idea they are related to SW and i didnt say either.

the leather ammo belts ranged from £60 - £140

these are items im not personnaly looking for but if anyone is really really interested let me know and i could maybe take camera up. if you wanted them then you would have to send money first covering postage etc too, im not looking to profit and dont mind doing favours. theres probably a few people on here that could vouch that im trust worthy already

bear in mind guys this stuff is just on one stall of military stuff theres alot of retro electrical gear too.

the place is in glasgow scotland and is a market called the barras its only opened at weekends.
