This is an original production-made driver's license blank from the 1980-88 TV series 'Magnum PI.'

I recently obtained a small number of these in person from the Earl Hays Press in Los Angeles. EHP made all of the custom printed props and license plates for the show. I found the licenses in the bottom of a card catalog type drawer which contained many other prop driver's license blanks from the mid-late 1970s and early 1980s.
The blank is on a semi-glossy type paper and has extra material at the bottom that has not yet been trimmed down, so that it would fit in a typewriter. In one of the screenshots, there is an extra piece of paper with 'Private Investigator' covering the driver license text at the top. There are also some color variances in the screenshots due to film and lighting conditions.
