Original Boba Fett EE-3 Design Question

Hi, I'm curious if anyone here knows or has reference information on the actual design history of the original ESB Boba Fett EE-3 blaster. Specifically, who was involved in choosing the Webley Flare gun, mating it to the scope, adding the MPP, etc, etc. I know that Roger Christian claims that he came up with the DL-44 while perusing the Bapty Warehouse and choosing a Mauser and the other parts to make it. Regardless as to whether that is legitimate or not, I don't think I've come across any similar story about the origin of the EE-3. Was it Bapty? One of the ESB Art Directors? Anyone know?

I have not ever come across the story for the EE3.. it would be interesting. great question!
If you find out.. let us know!

Thanks, will do. Still poking around. I wish I had an in with someone like Joe Johnston or Norman Reynolds. I’d bet one of them knows or knew once upon a time.
