Ok..you've just won the lottery..worth millions..what fanfilm would you make?

I've always wanted to see a Predator stalk survivors returning home from a Civil War battle...kinda Cold Mountain meets Predator. Yeah.

A real Batman movie - Michael keaton best one ever. Where batman is gone for years and Gotham city is taken over by Joker and his crew. Bruce is in cryonic Sleep do to an illness and secretly Alfred is working years and pasted on to generations on curing him. Then 2099 it is found not only was a cure found, but it can increase his abilities 60X more in the future. Alfred knowing it would be years has all the Batman equipment upgraded to its highest levels.. to take on the 4th Generation Joker of 2099………..

oh the Batmoblie would be killer... lol if I had the millions :)

“Fool Me Twice”, a Firefly Fan Film
But I'd also shoot the hour-long follow-on I'm writing now,
making it a ninety to one hundred minute film.
(What follows is a direct lift from my Firefly Fan Film Roundup.)
SerenityMovie.net :: View topic - Firefly Fan Film Roundup

Fool Me Twice | Facebook

This is an introduction for those who haven’t seen this before, and an update for those previously involved in the creative process.

The basic story centers around an Alliance sergeant, at the end of his career,
sent to squelch former-Independent businessmen who have turned to smuggling
under UAP rule.
This is NOT what the sergeant fought for (and watched his friends die for)
in the war to unite the planets.
That personal conflict is brought to a head in a meeting with the ex-Browncoats.
Our sergeant notes, “Yeah, well, there’s plenty for whom the cost of Unification exceeds the value.”

The story is an introduction of characters who could have many more adventures in the Firefly ‘verse.
Sergeant Aaron Wyatt is an Alliance noncom who is more Independent than Alliance.

FMT05.jpg

Lieutenant Amber Fitzpatrick is a local sheriff on Hera whose tenure pre-dates the Alliance takeover.

FMT06.jpg

Colonel David Anthony is an Alliance officer whose rise reflects influence more than competence.
Quintan Shang's brother was killed by the Purplebellies in the war. Makes her a might resentful. She's also a bit brash.

Buddy Lee Creek is a tough Independent who can take care of business with a pen or a gun, which ever is appropriate.
Rancher Dan Anderson was one of the Generals who made the decision to surrender at Serenity Valley; a scar on his soul that hasn't healed yet.

FMT07.jpg

Smuggler Randall Rourke is a mountain of a man who served honorably in the Independent Army.
And, of course, a whole slew of secondary and background characters for Browncoats to play.*

The stumbling block for getting "Fool Me Twice" made is my lack of filmmaker connections.
Especially filmmakers who want to make a Firefly fan film.
I feel that step one is to find a producer to take charge of rounding up talent.
I need actors, wardrobe supervisor, a DP, sound person and the aforementioned producer to fill in everything I forgot.
I need to reconnect with the gentleman who started making my CGI space craft and see if he would like to finish it, or pass it off to someone else.
So, consider this a “Help Wanted” ad for east-coast Browncoats.
I’d like to have enough people, with the right combination of skills,
to hold a few production meetings around the third week in August 2010,
with the intention of shooting in October/ November 2010.

*Secondary Characters:
Alliance Corporal
Alliance Heavy MG crew (2 Fed troops)
Alliance Guards (2 Feds in Colonel’s CP)
Local law enforcement officer
Smuggler on radio
Independent guard
IAV Dortmunder Fire Control Tech
Waitress in a NOT-Alliance-friendly bar

Background Characters:
4 Alliance Feds (shootout)
1 Alliance medic (shootout)
5 different Alliance Feds (outside CP)
Background Independents (as many as will supply their own costume!)

Fool Me Twice Locations

Locations for “Fool Me Twice consist of :
A shootout in the woods,
a meeting and journey along a path,
the main confrontation/ conference in a barn,
a makeshift Alliance headquarters,
a fire control center on an Alliance Interstellar Vessel,
and a NOT Alliance-friendly bar.

The location shots for the shootout in the woods, the meeting and journey along a path,
the main confrontation/ conference in a barn, and the makeshift Alliance headquarters,
were scouted on a fifty-acre farm outside of Gettysburg.

FMT01.jpg

I expect the shooting schedule to take place over two weekends.
Barn interior shots in the morning so dew and light aren’t an issue,
the gunfight scenes during midday, and the path scenes in the afternoon.

FMT03.jpg

My expectation is that the bulk of the filming would be done the first weekend,
with the command post scene, pick-up and fill in work done the following weekend.

FMT02.jpg

The fire control center scene should be a single day, with two main characters and a couple of background extras.

iavdort01JPEG.jpg

Dortmunder.jpg

The NOT Alliance friendly bar should be a single day shoot, preferably at a real restaurant or bar that is closed for the day. Shots would be done in two distinct phases. The first would be a number of takes showing the décor and patrons of the bar. The atmosphere shots would be done with everyone talking as people do in a bar. The second shots would be of the principal characters. The background characters would pantomime their conversations so the mics could pick up the principals’ dialog. Background chatter could be added back in, in post-production.

So, the shooting schedule for “Fool Me Twice” should take four weekends.
Two of those weekend shoots are at the mercy of the weather, two are interior scenes that aren’t affected by weather.

I would finish all the unfinished TV series in science-fiction land...

Space:1999 - The Alphan's find a home and Bergman, Kano, and Paul return. Tony finally makes good beer.
Lost in Space - Major West "accidentally" kills Dr. Smith and then they find a way back to earth.
Logan's Run - Logan finally changes his clothes after realizing his outfit might make it easier for Francis to track him and then they find sanctuary.
Planet of the Apes - Pete and Alan find a way to get back home using the memory disk from the ship. Galen comes with them and becomes a huge YouTube sensation.
The Fantastic Journey - The travelers all make it home.
Buck Rogers - Buck wakes up and realizes the second season was all a bad dream. He continues to fight the forces of evil and finally bags Wilma.
Battelstar Galactica - Apollo wakes up and realizes Galactica 1980 was all a bad dream. They find Earth and are extremely disappointed by the idiots they find there.

The Last Boy Scout! I'm sure Joe Hallenbeck has another great case to solve! Maybe this time his daughter's the stripper that gets murdered....

i would make a movie that connects the terminator with the matrix.

basicly after the last battle with the humans the machines no longer really need the combat terminators and transform to the matrix style of using people as batteries. it would make the terminators movies prequals to the matrix.

the concept would make both series work together great or it would be a custerf^&k of epic proportions.

My Picks:

Title: Indiana Jones and The Tablets of Destiny
Premise: Indiana Jones, a 20 year-old English lit. major and grandson of Henry Jones, Jr., tries to find the mythical Tablets of Destiny before members of the KGB can get their hands on them, while traversing the confusion of the start of the 1980s.

Title: Ramona Flowers vs. League of Evil Exes
Premise: Set one year after the events of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Ramona and Scott have both settled down in a comfortable life of being a couple rooming with each other. Scott has a job at a comic shop, Ramona is still delivering packages for Amazon.ca and life is good. That is until the League of Evil Exes return with a vengeance and kidnap Scott, leaving Ramona to fight various enemies all over the world in order to get him back.
DVD would include: Animated adaptation of the comic Scott Pilgrim vs. The Walking Dead to serve as a prequel to the film, featuring the voices of the cast.

Title: TRON: Corruption
Premise: Jet Bradley, the son of Alan and Lora Bradley, must fight a computer virus from inside the computer system (basically, taking the story of the TRON 2.0 video game and inserting it into the TRON: Legacy storyline, taking place a month after the events of the film).
Will: Utilize some more old-school effects in addition to advanced CG effects.

Premise: Dear Sister: The Feature-Length
Premise: It starts with two guys in an apartment, with one writing his sister. It ends up with everyone who gets involved shooting and dying in slow-motion to "Hide and Seek" by Imogen Heap, eventually leading to the end of the world.
(Yes, I'm kidding on this one)

I actually submitted a script for Star Trek DS9 - so to see that come to life would be great (I bring back the Doomsday Machine, and we go inside it, explain it for what it really is/was).

My choice for a epic movie would be Roger Zelazny's Amber novels.

A short film based on one of Isaac Asimov's Robot novels. (Not like I, Robot which had a mishmash of stories and themes...)

Or perhaps a dramatisation of Boba Fett escaping the Sarlaac Pit? You could film it in Tunisia, and it wouldn't be a massive drain on resources, as it isn't a massive set.
Then buy lot's of stuff from here.

Did you get any interest in the script?

I would pay others NOT to make fan films.

I mean REALLY, out of the 1000s how many were really any good.

Troops and Pink Five.

That's it, the rest I rather slit my wrists than watch a second time.

FANFILMS, really??!?!? That's what you'd do if you won the lottery??!?!?

Hell... isn't that what most movie directors do these days? Make expensive fan films? :)

Could someone make Star Wars prequels? I'd love to see Obi-Wan and Anakin in action back in the Old Republic days.
