Just a heads up for anyone interested - not sure if Toynk or Entertainment Earth is taking pre-orders yet, but Big Bad Toy Store is and I just reserved my Lantern and Ring replica. Not sure how hot these will be when they are released so I thought I would reserve them now and get it over with.
Fortunately, they don't charge your card until the item arrives. There is an Ebay seller taking preorders on these, however the number of negative and neutral feedbacks he has really turned me away. I feel better buying from a reputable vendor like BBTS.

Keep in mind, those pictures they are showing on the site are publicity photos. Those are NOT pictures of the actual props.

If it ends up looking like that it will be a steal. Just sucks that it's only a prop ring and will only be in size 13

If this was a size 10.5, I'd be all over it. 13 is too big though, even if it isn't meant to be worn. It might be worth it to buy one, remove the jewel/resin section and put it on a different band.

The only problem with that is that the width of the emblem is determined by the band circumference.

It may not be as big as you think. They say size 13, but who knows how this "prop" ring may actually fit.
As of now, RPF member Zenix sells the most authentic looking wearable rings, with many sizes available. It's pricey, but worth it if you really want to wear this prop.
@ Matt Munson: I agree that sometimes you can't trust the promo images that licencees release prior to an items actual release - however - I have seen some pics of the lantern prop on display at ToyFair and it looks to be genuine to the original just like in the photos, plus, DC Direct is pretty good at staying faithful with their products. Can't say the same for Noble Collection or Sideshow.
I really expect these to sell out once the movie comes out so I wanted to jump on this early. I missed out on their V mask way back when - I won't make that mistake again.

You went to toyfair? I am jealous.

No I was not at ToyFair, but I saw images of the DC Direct booth and saw the lantern on display. Didn't see a pic showing the ring, but the lantern looked spot-on (not lit up though).

I'm trying to find the image again...must have been lucky and stumbled across it cuz now I can't remember which website had it posted.
In any case, I'm fairly confident the final product will stand up to the promo images. DC Direct really does NOT play games with thier products....I mean...it's direct from DC....:cool

Perhaps this is the image you refer to?

@ Bimmer - yup, that's the one! Looks good to me, I'd like to see it really glowing though...can't wait for these, only four months to go!
