Well you got lucky. My friend tried the phone route and the order idiots on the phone were doing the same thing he was doing.....watching a refresh page on their computers.....kinda defeats the purpose of calling. Took my friend 80 mins to get his order done on his own computer since he gave up trying to phone route.

Got my 2! I refreshed at 10 till, than waited a couple times getting through. got done at 12:26!
I'm curious how many of these puppies they are pumping out, cause I woud have thought they would have sold out by now.

well glad to see others help each other out...gotta love the rpf...i cant wait to hear your guys reviews on the item...i decided at last minute im going hold off on one...
That was a chore... Trying to get one for me and my friend. I get to the Submit Order page, and then refresh screen, and then an error page. This was after an hour and a half of trying. Had to call the phone number and luckily they were able to sort everything out. I'm gonna kick myself if this is still available for a few days!

I dont think these will be limited editions or limited...if they do sell out, most likely they will have more in future....Just a guess really....
but when you look at their past ghostbuster items that sold out...some became available again recently...so maybe they are releasing them in waves or they figured ghostbuster items = money

That would be a change for Matty as that is exactly what they are about, limited edition (although they never announce the numbers) runs of specialty items...
They said that the "re-release" of GB stuff was hold backs for customer returns and exchanges... They seem to have a lot of extras but they also could have had manufacturing issues and thus reduced the initial offering size not knowing if they could meet demand, and then re-release the surplus after everything worked out...
It's not beyond them to re-issue new paint jobs though...

Yeah, I don't think they're limited either. Mattel usually releases the first wave, and when that sells out, they'll re-issue it again later with a subtle change to distinguish the 2nd release from the first. Usually a packaging change or re-color. I don't really care about numbers though, I just wanted the prop haha! Plus, I was ordering one for a friend, and didn't want to let him down. I would be more mad that I had to deal with such a broken system when in fact I could have bought them at my leisure just a few hours/days later.

if you happen to have surplus items and intend to sell them, please open up a JY thread with all necessary info on how much for the item and shipping, and keep sales talks out of this thread. Even if you try to help other members out in selling at cost, it´s a sale, and especially so if you try to refinance the item you plan to keep for yourself.
