Today I made few tests of Hydrodipping and I get pretty satisfying results.

Looking good. Is hydrodipping stable or will it come off after a while like a sticker?

Hydrodipping is very stable because after pattern is transfer object is coat with protective layers. For handle in photo I used 2 very heavy layers of automotive gloss lacquer.
For finish version of blaster I will use probably 3-4 layers for extra durability
If second run will happen I will let you know
For now all molds are done, I'm still wating for my metal because they didn't have enough in stock. But according to my supplier it should be deliver to me in upcoming week. So I will show you fully casted blaster in a week
Definitely in for the next metal kit run.

I Got my 2.0 Resin kit today,
I'M TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY!
Your upgrades from Vr. 1.0 are amazing!
Most striking is the size difference.
I was surprised that the original screen used blaster is smaller than your 1st version and you have completely nailed it this time!
I spent some time comparing the Pew Pew 2.0 to the real screen used version from the Adam Savage video, and this one is specifically spot on!
I can't wait to get the metal one!!!!!!

Last update before whole kit reveal. For last couple days I was working on quality improvments I've talk about earlier. And I'm so happy with results. Serial number straight from mold is very very sharp and requiers minimum sanding to bring shine from photo below. All other parts are with out any cleanup. Hope you like it, I worked so hard to find a way to get this quality on metal casts! I'm really proud of effects kits and finish blasters will look great, So far my favourite project yet!
