besides of the fact, that this build is paused until the new yoke arrives, I am struggling with myself to paint it or not...yet.
reason is that I plan to offer a kit of this blaster in the future and would loose some sharpness of the details, if I apply the heavy paintjob.
hmmmm...

Until the new parts arrive, I will redo the trigger assembly, finish the stock and work out a way to attach the coupling to the stock.
And I have a biker scout blaster in the works, that will replace my converted toy...finally

While waiting for the new 3D printed part(s) to arrive and the decision, whether to redo the trigger assembly a fourth (!) time I finished my new Biker Scout blaster.
I previously had an accurized Kenner toy for many years, but had to upgrade at some point.

Found a decent cast on etsy, which I reshaped to a certain degree to better match the screenused blaster.
Added a steel trigger guard, real capacitor/ transistor and SP scope, that I left its tip unpainted...what´s the benefit of using a real scope, if you make it look like a resin cast in the end Only applied a very subtle weathering...

IT IS TINY!!!

Wowzers slowly making my way through all the pages. need a strap for my jaw so I dont have to pick it up off the floor every page! Have you got any cast pieces from your A280. THats my future project.
