Oblivion - Jack's pistol

Just popping in to say that I just got some VERY good reference and have spotted a few tiny details that differ in my model. So far they look like easy fixes and were impossible to spot with the old reference that was available. More news from my end soon!

Thanks for the update Joe. I'm kinda glad I still have a bit of time left for this one. gotta recapitalize..LOL

Joe, You are doing great job, was just wondering how other efforts were going. Guess we know from the 1080 material what the major "tell" is from the concept art - the shots of the pistol on the wall show its not symmetrical (with one side having a insert/switch area close to the trigger - assume its supposed to be like a safety latch)

I dunno... kinda depends on how you define "major". :)

The CG paintwork on the concept image conceals and changes a LOT of things.

So, here's a photo I just got. It's been a long road, but our kit is just about ready to go!

(Sorry Sean, it was done earlier than expected haha.)

Making a "working" kit with a reasonable cost proved to be problematic- extremely delicate parts that were hard to cast so we went for a static one that can still have electronics added. (Will be in the JY shortly.) I'm still chugging away at the functional prototype so maybe something can be done in the future for those that absolutely must have a working trigger at all costs. As with the lawgiver kit I did with Shawn, I am once again floored and amazed at his skill at casting!
