issue 50 is now out and its over. boooo, I was really enjoying the series, but at least its ended on a good note and hasn't dragged along past its prime.

I thought its been a great series, great characters, some great stories and some amazing artwork.

I just wish we had some KOTOR figures (action figure or 1/6) :(

hmmm what the heck is kotor?

what company produces it? Well, i know how you feel..I was sad to my favorite series aka Y the Last Man came to an end...But it is better to go out on top rather than complicating things with ridiculous story lines etc etc

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic by Dark Horse

I'm still a year behind in reading my SW comics. A great series from what I've read though.

There've been several KOTOR comics over time. There's the original run in Dark Horse Comics (DH had a comic book that collected several short stories across multiple issues). Then there was the Freedon Nadd Uprising, the first KOTOR run, the stuff about the Sith Empire, etc., etc., etc.

Put simply, especially considering there's gonna be an MMO coming out soon, I would bet you'll be seeing PLENTY more KOTOR comics at some point in the future. Maybe with different characters, maybe focusing on a slightly different portion of the era, but trust me. It'll be back. The Lucas empire LOVES to do multimedia rollouts of new product -- new (or simply repackaged) DVDs, new big game launch, new comics, etc., etc., etc., all happening at once.

Have to say I do fantasize of one day seeing a well done(no Lucas) movie based in that era. Unlikely, but fun to think about.

even if they did the new KOTOR Zayne CArrick series as a tv series would be awesome. some excellent characterisation in there. lots of angst, action etc. it would be very good

I agree on the TV series. I was actually hoping for something along those lines when they first mentioned doing one. Not sure I will really care much for what they're planning but KOTOR would be a sure hit for a series and would definitely please most of the fans. But hey, that's far to cool an idea to ever see light of day.:rolleyes

They seem to kill off all of the good KOTOR stuff.

Then again, I think they let too many of these series go on for too long. I'm about 5 issues behind, but I've really loved the series.

it sits right before the kotor games involving darth malak and revan. malak and revan (ie the revanchist) both feature in the kotor comics
