Noob here..IM/IP/NFL blend

Hello all,

noob starting a little project here...I plan to build an Iron Patriot costume with a bit of a twist.It will probably be an mk 3/4 mix (not looking for movie accuracy), and I would like to do a paint job on it that incorporates my NFL team colors, said team being The Patriots.This being a prop forum hope not to get too many haters pushing my buttons...

I did my research on how to build, but would like to have suggestions regarding the painting when/if I am at that point.Someone with good imagination may be able to come up with a good paint scheme for me.I was thinking using the NFL uniforms color pattern.

Some pics of my progress, not much.I plan on resin/bondo the helm and neck this week, wish me luck!

The red helm was my foam reference work, my daughter was a bit flabbergasted.

hi! i've no idea which sort of suit you've been thinking of. ^^ but i have an idea about coloring the helmet. Patriots do wear mostly blue dresses right? so you could change all of the originally red color into that blue, mask front white and kind of imitate the red grid of the football helmet. i was searching for pics of the dresses... mustly blue/white, you could add the red/white/red stripes on the sides. hope i could help you!
