Night Elf Build - World of Warcraft

Hi all, so I've floating around here for a while now following other peoples (AWESOME) builds and costumes, and finally decided to start my own build thread, (be gentle please I'm new at this haha)
So my Boyfriend plays World of Warcraft and I recently started playing myself so I thought where better to start than with my very own character! A female Night Elf Druid.


I am hoping to get this costume made for the next Con in Australia, So here goes...

Okay the "Design Realisation" stage: I've found some reference pics that I will be drawing ideas from for the design of my costume.
from these I will do some costume sketches and then some Photoshop renderings

I would also say that Kamui's books on shaping Worbla are worth picking up if that is the material you're going to work with as well. She also has some generic patterns available on her site to use as a starting point for laying out your designs before cutting material.

thanks, I'll check that out for sure! I'd never heard of Worbla in Australia before but it sounds, and looks amazing

There is a supplier over east, I forget where. Google for worbla in australia you should find it. From memory (around 6 months ago) prices were a tad more than US$ but not by much.

okay, here are the final lot of concept sketches I've been working on. (thanks everyone for the advice about Worbla, I've been researching it and I will definitely do some trials with it!)
