Newbie Sith Acolyte (kinda)... WIP

Hey guys, Been working on this for the last couple of months and just recently got serious about it. Ive been looking at all of the Sith Acolyte outfits out there, and the look great. I play SWTOR and wanted to do this outfit, until I saw how many have recently been done. So I sat pondering. As I sat I put together my mask.

So I was looking at the mask, and looking at some of the work others have done, realising the amount of detail I would have to do, and got slightly intimidated. So partially out of laziness, and partial out of brilliance I came up with an idea. I've also been working on building a mandalorian set of armor. Why don't I join both.



So I'm thinking of doing a Mandalorian Sith Acolyte. Using the Mando Armor, and cutting out the mouth and nose on the mask, replacing them with a T visor. Still going to use the Acolyte coloring, and some of the sworl patterns on the mask. But planning on putting the Empire symbol on one chest piece, and the Krayt Skull on the other. What do people think?

I for one really like the idea!! It's always fun seeing original / combined concepts from people. Plus, I'm partial to this idea anyway because most of my friends are Mandos and I have my Revan!! Well, Revan's mask IS Mando based anyway so your Mando/Sith design idea meshes together pretty well imo gl!

Have you given any thought as to how you're going to mount the armor plates? If you are doing a Mandalorian it's relatively straight forward to mount the armor to the flack vest and flight suit, but how are you planning to wear it with Sith robes or Acolyte under armor?
