I wish we lived next door to each other, so you'd have to actually say some of this stuff to me in person.
I don't think that would be possible: you couldn't afford it.
On the other hand, as you've noticed I stand up for what I think, whether in person or anywhere else. The difference between you and I in that area is I feel some moral obligation to be reasonable about it.
For example, you're really self rightous about your hobby and obsessions being respected, yet you feel you're in a position to jeer at others that have hobbies no less silly than yours.
Quite illogical.
NONE of your posts have ever stated your lack of "understanding," or your desire to understand.
I don't understand, and yet I don't need to: there are some things that are purely emotional and subjective, such as your devotion to this particular fetish. I see it as your problem.
They are knee jerk, righteous comments. You have made direct statements. Stand behind your posts. ,.
I do and I have, and no they are not. I've done a bit of research on the subject, because I included some of this sort of thing in my science fiction writings. However, this sort of self mutilation doesn't appeal to me in any way: it seems to me rather a lot of pain, expense and trouble to go to for a pretty questionable result. Not for me.
But oddly, the pointy ears do seem appealing. Go figure.
I don't understand why this is any different than bashing someone who chooses to follow a different religion,.
Oh, you should: body modification isn't a religion, nor is it a political affiliation. It's pretty much a fetish, as has been mentioned by others.
On the other hand, I'd tend to lump the pointy ears into the area of cosmetic surgery, and I like the result (at least the fake result seen here). It's cute.
