New (Well Not To New) Method To Spock Ears For ST XI!!

As a former piercer, I support the idea that the three things (piercing, tattoos, and surgical body modification) are separate and exclusive of each other. Just because a magazine tries to broaden its appeal, and thus its viewership, does not mean the three things go hand-in-hand. Nor does their presence at a convention make it so.

LOL, I bow to your right to separate your art form from the rest. This
is surly not the forum to debate it at any rate.

You have no idea what I have done and my qualifications on the matter. As an individual artist I have every right to decide if Tattoos and Piercings and surgical modifications are to lumped together. Most serious Artists I know, don't have a Piercer in the other room.

You have no idea what you're talking about.

I'm glad your "friends that are very into the "lifestyle" one owns a shop" give you the expertise to make these judgments on my qualifications. Since the Magazines you picked up and your expansive Tattoo Convention experience are all the proof you need - I'll quit championing people's rights to express themselves. Guess what? I've been in those Magazines. I expressed MY opinion on seeing a HOAX posted AGAIN and certain Members jumping from FAKE EAR SURGERY TO TATTOOS. Read my ******* posts.

Had you read my posts you would see I supported peoples rights to be Tattooed without being lumped into some stupid s@@t like the first post.
You might want to blow your childish views at the people who condemned ANY MODIFICATION.

Laffo.

Laffo, if I ever make it up that way, could I get you to tattoo my forked dong? That way I can be sure they're lumped together.:lol:lol:lol

For some strippers I'd say this could make them more money then breast implants. If a chick is little and hot I'm interested, now you put pointy ears on her and I my be in line for the title.

I'll Corn Dog it.
What is it with your Dong today? The impending Vasectomy?
Laffo.

Sorry, I just realized those were all responses to your post/threads. Feel free to ignore me, it's on the mind for sure. I can only imagine it's kind of the same as having a third nipple removed. You're sure you want to go through with it, but you gotta give it lots o' lovin while it's still attached.

Looks photoshopped to me, the way the shadows and skin appear "smeared" around the ear. And the ponytail is exactly the same. She just switched shirts between the shots to make them look different...

So here I am, it's 9AM, and I've had to read the phrase "forked dong" like half a dozen times. Awesome. Thanks for making my nuts crawl.

On the plus side, you could do the "live long and prosper" gesture with your pants down. :lol

I wish we lived next door to each other, so you'd have to actually say some of this stuff to me in person.

I don't think that would be possible: you couldn't afford it.

On the other hand, as you've noticed I stand up for what I think, whether in person or anywhere else. The difference between you and I in that area is I feel some moral obligation to be reasonable about it.

For example, you're really self rightous about your hobby and obsessions being respected, yet you feel you're in a position to jeer at others that have hobbies no less silly than yours.

Quite illogical.

NONE of your posts have ever stated your lack of "understanding," or your desire to understand.

I don't understand, and yet I don't need to: there are some things that are purely emotional and subjective, such as your devotion to this particular fetish. I see it as your problem.

They are knee jerk, righteous comments. You have made direct statements. Stand behind your posts. ,.

I do and I have, and no they are not. I've done a bit of research on the subject, because I included some of this sort of thing in my science fiction writings. However, this sort of self mutilation doesn't appeal to me in any way: it seems to me rather a lot of pain, expense and trouble to go to for a pretty questionable result. Not for me.

But oddly, the pointy ears do seem appealing. Go figure.

I don't understand why this is any different than bashing someone who chooses to follow a different religion,.

Oh, you should: body modification isn't a religion, nor is it a political affiliation. It's pretty much a fetish, as has been mentioned by others.

On the other hand, I'd tend to lump the pointy ears into the area of cosmetic surgery, and I like the result (at least the fake result seen here). It's cute.

Oh, it's worse than that: you probably haven't actually seen it. I did some research on this sort of thing, and I saw pictures.

Sometimes they put a bolt through it to hold it together...

THE FIRST POST WAS ABOUT A FAKE EAR SURGERY. Not Tattoos. Not Piercing. Not your views on fiber of the persons having either Tattoos or Piercings. YOU ALONE INTERJECTED THAT INTO THE DISCUSSION..

No, I didn't.

I guess the same reason people get tatt's and body piercings.

Not my cup o tea but hey, whatever floats your boat! :lol

You're right Ham Salad.
You are smarter, more handsome, richer, more successful and better liked than I will ever be.
You're also never wrong and morally superior.
You win.
How dare me.

Laffo.

well......
the ear thing is cool i guess. as has been stated it is more middle earth than trek in my opinion.
if you are facing the posibility of losing you din-a-ling stop typing for a day and go use it ...... alone if necessary but by god if there is even a chance send it off in style.
laffo which shop do you work at?

I find that to be rather horrible, not the body mod itself. The idea that a pair of different freakin' pointy ears could cause someone to lose their job and basically be shunned from society.

Can you imagine this woman's life from now on? I hope she's got a real strong group of friends and some real hardcore job security, because if she loses either, she ain't gonna be able to replace 'em.

Exactomundo! You nailed it...!

We I just love an antagonist, especially if they speak at the top of their voice while antagonizing their target. :lol

There's no antagonism here. The issue you keep failing to understand is that
It's really hard for me not to respond to things that seem to be a question...or are really confusing or surreal as statements. They poke me right in the curiosity center.

Anyhow, you can't call it antagonism when I agreed with some things he posted but not others.

Oddly enough, though, that doesn't seem to be the case. Maybe you can get away with a lot more if you're really cute.
