Hey good idea Zorg, I'd like to see that too.
Absolutely amazing sculpt cyberman, Stuart Freeborn would love to see this. it's even better to see him under a layer of silicone.

fettster, I don't know how cyberman's planning on doing this, but one method is; once the initial silicone's dry, embed regular bolts (heads down with their threads pointing outwards) into another layer of rubber firmly so they can't pull away, then build the mother-mould around these bolts greasing the threads first. Then once your remove the mother-mould aftrerwards you have holes you can push the bolts through and can screw nuts onto the bolts outside if needs be. Have to be careful where you choose to place the bolts though, or it'll be hard getting the mother-mould off..

I have a question about the mold, i understand the building up of silicone layers but how are you going to key it into the mothermold to stop it flopping about ?
does that make any sense?
