Well, Ramiel helped me design this last year--I made one with a Rapid Prototype (SLA) and it looked great, but I have been wanting to do one with a metal handle and steel blade. I finally got the handles machined and am ready to start fitting them to the blade, which I just had lasercut and am putting the edge on it bu hand--
I have to decide if I want to keep the blade extended out a bit so the scallops show or put them down in as it was designed--It will look great either way, will just be a bit stronger if I hide the scallops in the handles as it was originally. (see pictures 4 and 7 to see the difference)
I still have some cleanup to do on the handles . I will be making some molds of these also after I have them done and creating them in resin or maybe have them casted in metal, maybe bronze or brass.
I MAY put these up in the JY after I have them done. It was an original design done for a Bodybuilding competition in Hawaii last year, and they will want these for the winners in the coming years, but since I did these at my expense, well you know--
Anyhow, Kudos to Ramiel for a great design and what does everyone think???
