Hello Lair,
I have been following this community for about a year and only recently realized that you had a marketplace thread for members, I was missing out on all that good stuff for a while. I have been researching the information here on the lair and at first it was just my fascination with all the amazing work that people here do and post. After reading all of this I realized that making my own predator costume is a reality. Last year I attended my first convention in cosplay, I made several costumes from the Mortal Kombat series and had a large group of friends to wear them with me and we all had a great time. The lair inspired me to make my next costuming venture as a Predator, of course my group of friends are inspired now as well and we will all be taking the journey in experimenting with Predator costume making together. The Hunter's Lair will be our inspiration and mentor, thank you for the endless amounts of Huntorial threads and member postings their ideas on how they did their own creations.
The first thing I did as anyone who might get excited would do, is buy a bio mask (P1 design), yep I did the noob thing and jumped right in to dropping money, although I currently have an awesome display piece if nothing else. I have a general idea of how I wanted my hunter to look and it revolves around my own design with a mix of P1 and AvP. Of course only days after I bought the bio I found what I thought, was an excellent deal online. So I made a 2nd purchase. I purchased a latex mask painted with dreads and beads along with other ornaments and a painted bio that matched it perfectly. This piece is really amazing and I love it, however, it's a huge deviation from my original plan, so I am not sure what I will do with this in the end. The point of my post however, is if you guys could help me find out who the maker of this mask is, so weather I wear the mask or decide to sell it, I can giver credit to it's creator. Maybe it's a lair member, perhaps not. If you would be so kind, thank you all and I look forward to contributing to the community during my build phase and beyond.
