Hello to everybody. Can't tell you how glad I am you guys started accapting new members again!
Anyway, I figured I'd throw up a post of some of my previous props as a way to say hi. Some of you who know me from other boards know that I usually build something in the spirit of a movie prop but with my own design or twist. Not that I'm opposed to replicas... I guess I'm getting myself warmed up with these customs and will tackle some replicas after I build my knowlege a bit. Plus... sometimes I'm just too creative for my own good. :cool
Comming soon (loosely using the word soon here) from my lab will hopefully be a custom proton pack for halloween... followed by a more movie accurate one, some mark x tricorders, and who knows what else!
Enjoy...
My first lightsaber - handmade with zero powertools... a complete cut and paste job from stuff I purchased from home depot/drug stores etc. I wanted to make my first one with nothing other than creativity and plenty of epoxy of course...
Then a saber I made in 24 hours as a challenge to myself...
A custom blaster I made for a blade runner contest...
A custom design pke meter thingy... this was supposed to look like it belonged on the animated Real Ghostbusters show... but made out of real world items... if that makes any sense...
And finally... a custom design 29th century tricorder
Just feels good to share I guess....
