Yup. They are never going to alter it. The comic and Falcon shields also have it the same.

Why would they make a new mold when they can use the existing molds and repaint it for almost no development cost? It's practically free money...

It’s part of a marketing push celebrating Marvel movies this far. Infinity Saga line. LEGO is doing it too.
