New BMF coming

My 2nd round of parts was delayed a bit getting to me from Shapeways, then delayed because of weather in shipping.

I am in the northeast USA and we are just getting storm after storm and temps like 20 degrees below normal, or more, which is just having a ripple effect of delaying stuff i am working on.

However, parts are in hand, i have started to clean them up. Some parts are already molded, so yes likely first week in March but i am on the job for sure.
thanks
mike

Mike, can you give us more on your thoughts on these parts? Are they going to be available individually or are you offering everything as a set? Do you have a list of parts that you will be offering?

I just picked up a Falcon from Wal Marts and am still trying to figure out what to do (meaning "landed" or "in-flight"), which parts I plan on replacing/upgrading (besides the obvious missing side pieces), whether to do lighting or not, and if so how much. So hearing what you planning on offering will help the rusty cogs in my head start a-turnin'. :)

Thanks for offering these. (and thanks to the great Tony for creating them in the first place).

Chris

Hello I'm new at this and saw your forum and want to know the MF scale size is it 1/144? And where should I start I see that some start at different points and want to slow not to screw up, since I just got my MF for 15.00 but now Wal mart is out of them now, so if I mess up I will have to go else where.

Hi.

This big Hasbro Falcon is about 1/48, more or less. Difficult to say exactly.

Here you will find all the information you need to convert this toy on a Studio Scale Falcon, almost.

Best

Guys.

I've designed a new cabin cone for the Hasbro with built in side consoles. OK @jameth1971 ? :D

Any suggestion?

Any idea on cost for the resin bits? Understandable if you guys haven't figured that out yet.

No, still no price. But we will try to adjust it to the max.

Many thanks for your interest!

Boy I'm glad Shapeways screwed up my order. It just gets better and better. I'm putting my Shapeways ordering on hiatus for a bit, the stuff I'm receiving is 30-50% useless. Their response of refunded money is OK I guess but I haven't figured out how to detail these models with money.

:rolleyes:rolleyes

So with that nicely upgraded cone, FZ6, will Mike be casting up the original long cone in resin, or will you replace that one with this new one with the nifty consoles?

Yay for individual parts! I already have the set from Randy, but still wanted the radar and cannon parts, and long cone with side consoles (if that was going to be cast in resin, in two halves I'd assume and easier to detail). Plan on ordering the cockpit interior and a couple 5 ft engine actuators sets from Shapeways now.

Guys, ease up with the questions on pricing.

This is still ongoing and no price has been sorted for the resin parts and I'm sure Mike and Tony will let everyone know when THEY are ready to list a price.

So how much for the 32" version radar support with an internal wire support in frosted amber? Oh I forgot to mention I want the ESB crossover support so that it can be a quick release system to switch out to the new rectangle antenna. Oh yea ........with shipping.

Haha just checking in on everyone's progress.

Or will the consoles be available separately from SW, or come in parts as a kit in resin with a duplicate Hasbro Short Cone available on SW, or possibly as a chunk of rock which ships with a chisel so we can refine our own, or failing that could we get a set of leprechauns available from SW to stretch the existing Hasbro cone, and how much will that cost, and why isn't it available yet?

:D
