Never Say Never!

After completing the assembly of Houdiniguy's B9 (my fourth B9), I said I never wanted to build another.

Well......

As some of you know I moved from Seattle to South Dakota.

This is what I do for a living now.

These are the first four I have worked on.

I was hired eight weeks ago by B9Creations, the Officially Licensed maker of the Full Size Lost in Space Robot replica.

This is a first class operation and I am proud to be a part of it.

I'm not taking any jabs at anyone on pourpose with this, but I found it comical that someone here recently said this to you:

"BTW Mic, I don't think I've ever seen a thread where you made a prop. All I ever see from you are wise a$$ comments towards people. Anyone can do a search on your name to view your posts and they are all the same. Basicly trolling."

:lol

Jeezus, Mike! South Dakota!? You don't like us here in SoCal -or the west coast in general!?

Beautiful robots, but that long-hair in the middle looks bored to tears! ;)

Anything but bored. When we finished those four today, I must say it was very cool seeing them all talking and moving. Mike J has done a fabulous job engineering this replica. Makes my job easy. No chinese factory job here. MADE IN THE USA.

I live in Sturgis. The place with the GIANT biker rally.

You think my hair is long now...just wait. One of the perks of not going corporate.

South Da-kotey?! Wowser! Gee, you're pretty near Minneapolis/St. Paul! You should do a road trip out here soon. Bring one of your big shiny friends! ;) We've got a couple really good cons in town. Marscon just ended, and Convergence is coming up around 4th of July. Lotta fun!

I lived in Sioux Falls for about half a year. Nice town. Bad wages. Strange jobs. I painted 50 inflatable Bud Men. And I don't know how many inflatable beer and pop cans. Plus the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Bugs Bunny balloon. Which I STILL haven't seen.... Never got to build any robots there, though.

Wow Mike, from Microsoft to this, what a difference! Ok granted the Microsoft dig was a temp but still...

Good to put a face to the ID. We long hairs need to stick together... :p

Now find out how much to ship one of those bots to me, pronto! :lol
