Netflix's Atlas starring JLo

I saw a few second clip on a Netflix ad and I thought it looked cool. It says something about an AI soldier trying to take out humanity. I'm assuming she is one of the humans.

Uhh… Have… Have any of you seen ATLAS?

We live two lives:

Who we were BEFORE we watched Atlas...

...and the person we become after.

I hadn't heard about this until just now but it does look interesting. No idea what the plot is but it has mechs so it caught my interest.

I absolutely hate her as an actress, or perhaps the roles she has chosen to play. Maybe this show will change my mind.

I'm pretty sure you can still read it in the subtitles.

JLo: "How did it know I wanted coffee?"
Zoe (mech): "I'm sorry, but my pronouns are 'she' and 'her', not 'it'."
OMG.

I preferred TOS Battlestar Galactica's female flight computer voice C.O.R.A. of Starbuck's new Recon Viper.

Wow! Saw this with a friend who LOVES J -Lo and this movie was GREAT!
Okay, so a robot isn't an "it," the robot with a female voice wants to be a "she," but if you loathe movies where the hero does stupid stuff, this movie is a breath of fresh air.

We kept looking at each other during this movie with a big, hearty "YES."

J-Lo understands the enemy and if they'd only listened to her in the first place...

Some may call her “J-Lo”…

To me, she’ll always be “Jenny From The Block (JFTB)”.

I feel like this was shot at the same time as her visual album or whatever it was, This Is Me... Now. Similar CGI, same hair style, etc. Both not great!

Watched it this morning and enjoyed it. Followed one of the standard story arcs which is fine, because hey, it's been around for at least a couple thousand years. :) Thought she did a sufficient job acting. Simu Liu played a good villian, The AI voice was great, enjoyed the interplay between him and J Lo. Sterling K. Brown will always be the guy from This is Us to me, but he's good as well.
